Pentesting on a Fake Company
A penetration testing project on a simulated corporate environment.
About
During my curriculum in the BUT Networks and Telecommunications program, I specialized in cybersecurity. As a final project of the third semester, I conducted a full penetration test on a fictional company. The objective was to apply the methodologies learned in class: reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, exploitation, privilege escalation, and reporting. This project allowed me to build my first structured pentest methodology and understand common weaknesses in small corporate infrastructures.
